Applications:
The present
invention is a compact, portable (hand-held) wavefront sensor. It is
composed of a double path dichrotic filter, a beam splitter, and a dual, unequal
wavelength illumination arranged in a system able to measure ocular wave
aberrations.
Applications
include:
- Vision
screening of infants and children.
- Measurement
of ocular wave aberrations in clinic or patient's home.
Advantages:
Compactness
and light weight of the instrument afford the portability to make ocular
measurements outside the clinic.
