Needle Shade

Applications:
This invention relates to relieving the apprehension and anxiety associated with the sight of a needle piercing the skin. This is especially the case with children receiving injections as well as during self-injection of medication. Due to this fear and hesitation, compliance with a medication therapy would also be adversely affected.

Advantages:
The present invention provides a means to obscure the intimidating sight of a needle piercing one’s skin/flesh and greatly reducing the apprehension to receiving an injection of a required medication. Level of compliance with a therapy would also increase with the use of this simple device.
